Some victories don’t start with headlines. They start with prayer and a stubborn refusal to accept oppression as normal. We open with worship and thanksgiving, then anchor our faith in the Bible’s blunt honesty about conflict: God is our rock, fortress, and deliverer, and He still acts when His people cry out.

Our theme is “Let God arise,” and we build it on Isaiah 49:24–26, where God answers the question everyone asks in hard seasons: can captives of a tyrant be rescued? We talk through the promise that God will contend with those who contend with you, save your children, and expose the limits of so-called mighty men. From there, we connect Scripture to real life with a testimony of answered prayer tied to people held hostage in southwest Nigeria, and we address the voices that mock prayer or push counterfeit power as a substitute for faith in the living God.

To make it practical, we move into guided prayer points for deliverance from personal, political, social, cultural, and financial oppression, asking God to flip the tables on tyrants, collapse networks of abuse, and make this moment a turning point for Nigeria. If you need Bible-based encouragement, Christian spiritual warfare prayer, and a reason to believe prayer is effective, press play and pray with us. Praise And Opening Worship

SPEAKER_00

Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Welcome you to the hour of the word of our living God. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. In Psalm 18, verse 2. David sang a great song of thanksgiving to God. When the Lord delivered him from the hand of his enemies, saying, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength in whom I will trust, my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower. Today, our own song is Hallelujah, Jesus conquer the world. Satan, you are in trouble. May Jesus reign in our land today. Amen. We honor your name. There's no one like you. You are better than the best. In Psalm 144, verses 1 and 2, the Bible says, Blessed be the Lord, my strength, which teacheth my hands to war and my fingers to fight. My goodness and my fortress. My high tower and my deliverer, my sheet, and he is whom I trust, who subdueth my people under me. Father, we thank you. You have glorified your name. Thank you for shutting permanently the mouths of the unbelievers. Many mocked us in prayers. Many declared that your name alone will not accomplish victory. Then you arose. You fought in a unique way, in a different format. Those who are already counting us as part of their future slaves perished. Blessed be your name, O Lord. In your words today, please open our spiritual ears to hear you, and our eyes to see your wonders. No one will remain the same, Lord. We will all be transformed. Let it be so. For we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

The Theme Let God Arise

The topic of our message is Let God arise. Let God arise. The concluding part.

Isaiah’s Promise To Rescue Captives

SPEAKER_00

We read verses 24 to 26. Isaiah 49, verses 24 to 26. Can the prey be taken from the mighty? Or the captives of a tyrant be rescued? For thus says the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued. For I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children. I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with wine. Then all flesh shall know that I am the Lord your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty one of Jacob.

Series Recap And Nigeria Testimony

SPEAKER_00

Brethren, six weeks ago, we started the study of this series that challenges our God to arise for our defense in this time of trouble. Last week, we used the above Bible text to reassure ourselves on how our God can rescue us from the so-called mighty men and tyrants. We discuss how He can punish our enemy and make them swim in the pool of their own blood. In the course of the week, God showed up Himself in one of the prayer points against those who have been holding some people hostage in southwest Nigeria. This is a great victory for the name of our living God. Hallelujah. Before this time, people have mocked those who mentioned prayers as solutions to the problem. Great men of God were ridiculed. The heads of government were called names. Some so-called men of God even boasted of using occult power to support their own prayers. What a moment. However, our text confirm that God will contend with our oppressors. He will rescue those in bondage and make our oppressors great in debt. This God did. I believe this will definitely strengthen the faith of many people in efficacy of prayer. Hallelujah.

Psalm 18 Song Of Victory

SPEAKER_00

I love to sing the song of David in Psalm 18, verses 46 to 48. Psalm 18, verses 46 to 48, to celebrate this uncommon victory in silent prayers. He says, The Lord liveth, and blessed be my rock. And let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God that avengeth me and subdueth the people under me. He delivereth me from my enemies. Yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me. Thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

Guided Prayer Points For Deliverance

SPEAKER_00

Brethren, like we have always been doing, let's raise our voice in thanksgiving to our Lord God in these prayer points. Prayer number one. We say our Father and our God, the one who answers prayers, glory be to your name. Thank you, God, for being our faithful God and being faithful to your words to rescue us from oppressors. Father, we pray that as you have rescued these people, everyone in bondage, please, Lord, arise. Arise for them. In whatever way we are so suffering under any personal, any political, any social, any cultural and financial oppressions. Please arise today, Lord, and rescue us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Prayer number two. We say, Almighty God and Savior, let these incidents be a turning point for the nation Nigeria. Every group of tyrants and oppressors who have been seeing us as their slaves in waiting. Please, Lord, let the table turn today. Their weapons of oppression, including networks built over the years, their political contacts, and every evil spiritual power. Let all of them collapse like a pack of cards in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Prayer number three. We say Almighty God and Father, everyone and anyone who have been saying our prayers and cry to you as a joke and mocking us. Or anyone wanting to use these testimonies and praise to your name to test your power in our lives. Please, Lord, arise in your power. Show them who you are. If they refuse to repent, please let your merciless angels strike them with the swords of confusion, sickness, and death in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Blessed be your name forever, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Amen.

Closing Prayer For Lasting Change

SPEAKER_00

Let us pray. Our wonderful Father and our God will bless your name. Thank you for this victory. Blessed be your name forever. Father, we pray once again that never again shall the evil people and their cohorts take us for granted. This victory will last and will be a turning point of our prayer and struggle in Nigeria. Let it be so, Lord, for we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
