When pressure rises, it can feel like every road is blocked and the wilderness has “shut you in.” We lean into that exact moment from Exodus 14, where Pharaoh assumes Israel is trapped, and we pray for the same kind of turnaround, the kind only God can get credit for. We open with Numbers 10:35 as our rallying cry: “Arise, O Lord,” asking God to scatter darkness and bring deliverance for Nigeria, Africa, and a world that feels dangerously close to regressing into old, cruel patterns.
From there, we talk plainly about what troubled times do to the human heart. Fear tries to steal worship. Confusion tries to make faith look naive. And some people even drift into mocking God or reaching for dark “backup plans.” We push back with Scripture and perspective, including Proverbs 21:31, because preparation matters but victory still belongs to the Lord. We also name the tension many feel in a computer age shaped by predictions and data, while insisting that God’s power is not outdated and miracles are not a myth.
We anchor courage in the stance of the three Hebrews who refuse to bow, and we hold tight to Ephesians 3:20, trusting God to do far beyond what we ask. Then we guide you through three focused prayer points: canceling the enemy’s calculations, asking God to glorify His name in your predicament, and refusing to let the devil write the last chapter of your life. If you need Christian encouragement, deliverance prayer, and a faith reset for hard times, press play, pray along, and then share this with someone who needs hope. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell us what you’re asking God to turn around.

Opening Praise And Numbers 10:35
SPEAKER_00Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We welcome you to Howard of His Word. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. In the book of Numbers, chapter 10, verse 35. Numbers 10, verse 35. Moses said, Arise, O Lord, and let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before you. I call upon the God of Moses today. Please arise, O Lord, and save our country Nigeria. Please, Lord, arise and save Africa. God shall arise and save the world from regressing into the crude days. Darkness must not overcome light. Amen.
A Prayer For Nigeria And Peace
SPEAKER_00Let us pray. Our Father and our God we worship you. You are the God of all seasons. Hallowed be your name. Thank you for a time of peace, and thank you for your assurance that you will not visit us with troubles. Thank you, Lord, for being our help in the present when trouble comes. Psalm 50, verse 15 says, Call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me. Today, all over the world, especially in our country, Nigeria, all is not well. We are here to call upon your name, Lord. Please deliver us. Let the glory of our deliverance be yours and not of any man. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen.
When Trouble Tries To Kill Faith
SPEAKER_00We read verses 3 and 4. Exodus 14, verses 3 and 4. For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel, they are wandering in the land. The wilderness has shut them in. And now we hid in Pharaoh's heart. And he will pursue them. And now we get glory over Pharaoh and all his hosts. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord. And they did so. Brethren, troubled times are not periods for jokes or rest. Individuals, families, communities, nations, and even the entire world can have trying and very challenging periods. Periods of troubles will defy your position, even your influence. Your affluence and riches will be humbled. Wisdom and strength will become useless. Confusions and challenges will create riddles that even the wise ones will be confused. This we should note is one of the tactics of Satan to take our mind in fear from serving and worshiping God. The position of God Almighty as the creator of heaven and earth, and his assurance is that he is a call away from us. This is an assurance of our hope that all is not lost. At times like this, our faith may be stretched even to the limit. The little text that we read is an extract from the experience of the Israelites while living in Egypt to the promised land. When they got to the bank of the Red Sea, it was as if the world would crash on them. They could not trust God for any idea of deliverance. The only option they could see was destruction waiting for them. They wanted to go back to Egypt to continue slavery. Recently, brethren, in a similar vein, we have seen some religious leaders boasting that they do engage in voodoo rituals to support their faith and help their God. This is very unfortunate. Many made a mockery of any idea of calling upon God. This shows how close many hearts are still linked to the dark ages. No wonder we still find sacrifices at junctions of many prime estates. In Proverbs chapter 21, verse 31. Proverbs 21, verse 31, the Bible says the horse is made ready for the day of battle. But the victory belongs to the Lord. Many spoke as if they've never seen the miracle of God before. We can take any decision on our political situation, but we should be careful in mocking God and the servants of God. Wow. My prayer is that our faith will not be tested beyond its elastic limits. Many have lost faith in miracles, especially in this computer age, when results of physical world are by theorems and data science predictions. Let's not talk about where those science models have failed. Ours is to focus on what God will do. We believe, like the three Hebrews in the book of Daniel, chapter 4, verses 17 and 18. Daniel 4, verses 17 and 18, which says, If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fairy furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O King. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up. In Ephesians chapter 3, verse 20. Ephesians 3, verse 20, the Bible confirms God as being able to do beyond what we are asking. Let us ask him in faith and with heart of remorse and repentance. He will save and deliver us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Their natural calculations was that the end had come. But God was called upon by their leaders, and the unusual happened. The sea parted way for them to cross safely. God glorified his name. These are the anchor for our prayers today.
Three Focused Prayers For Deliverance
SPEAKER_00Brethren, prayer number one. We say, Father, do not let the calculations of the enemy come to pass in my life. When they think I have no way of escape, please, Lord, make a way for me. Make a way for my family. Make a way out of every difficult situation for me. Make a way for my country, Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Prayer number two. We say, Lord, in my present predicament, let the enemy know that I have a great God. Please glorify your name, Lord. Don't allow the devil to write the last chapter of my life. My solution, Lord, will glorify your name in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Prayer number three, brethren, my Father and my God, it's you and you alone that I have. Let your name not become a thing of mockery because of my challenges. The problem that the name of Jesus Christ cannot solve. Let me not encounter it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. The next episode, we will be discussing how God will destroy those who will not allow us to rest. Our God is alive. He is able to deliver us. Our faith is not premised on what we have seen done alone. We believe God will do all that He has promised to do. Hallelujah. I pray that everyone in the captivity of the oppressors, God Himself, will arise and break all the shackles of detention to free them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

SPEAKER_00Our living God, we thank you for being there for us. Thank you for fighting and winning all our battles. We are handing over our country and the whole world to you, Lord. Please glorify your name in victory over our adversaries. In all areas that our actions and inactions are putting us at the risk of becoming enslaved. Please, Lord, forgive us. Strengthen our leaders with wisdom, with the will, and your fear to rule us in fairness and justice. Thank you, Lord, for doing this and much more for us. For we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
