PARTNERING WITH GOD

Empty nets are exhausting, especially when you’ve done “everything right” and nothing changes. We open with the Bible’s promise that hope in God is an anchor for the soul, then we get intensely practical about what it means to stop drifting and start partnering with God for stability, direction, and results that don’t collapse under pressure.
We walk through John 21: seasoned fishermen work all night and catch nothing, then Jesus appears with one instruction that changes the outcome completely. That moment becomes a mirror for real life: job searches that stall, rejection that repeats, sickness that won’t lift, and long seasons where effort feels mocked. We also share a striking illustration of a poor, abandoned man whose life turns around through a generous partnership, pointing to God’s power to raise people from the dust and reposition them with dignity and purpose.
From there we lay out a step-by-step framework for breakthrough that listeners can apply right away: recognizing the limits of human strength, staying aware of the Holy Spirit’s presence, reporting failure to God in prayer, trusting Christ for solutions, and obeying what He says. We also speak plainly about repentance and why ongoing sin can delay the fullness of partnership with Jesus Christ. If you’re looking for Christian encouragement, Bible teaching on faith, and a clear path toward prayer, obedience, and miracles, this message meets you where you are.

Hope As The Soul’s Anchor
SPEAKER_00Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We come to you with covering greetings and the living word of God. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Hebrews chapter 6, verse 19 says, This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the presence behind the veil. Meaning, God is our sure anchor. Any form of disconnection from him creates an environment of a boat being tossed around by high sea wave. We would rather partner with God than become a disaster victim of devil. Hallelujah. Let us pray. Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Anchor, and our God. We bless your name. We thank you, Lord, for being the stabilizer of our soul, body, and spirit. Once we partner our lives with you, we can be sure of your power to make us prosper without limits in body, soul, and spirit. Any adventure without you is a failure. That's why we have come to put our hands in your hands, Lord. Father, direct us and grant us direction in your solemn voice, where we will labor this year for a next year and experience harvest to the glory of your name. Do this and much more for us, Lord. For we have prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. The topic of our message is partnering with God. Partnering with God. And our little text is taken from the book of John, chapter 21. We read verses 3 to 6. John chapter 21, verses 3 to 6. Simon Peter said to them, I am going fishing. They said to him, We are going with you also. Then they went out and immediately got into the boat. And that night they caught nothing. But when the money had now come, Jesus stood on the shore. Yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Then Jesus said to them, Children, have you any food? They answered him, No. And he said to them, Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some. So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it because of the multitude of fish. Brethren, the story was told of a man. He was so poor, sick, and a destitute that he had been abandoned by friends, relations, and neighbor. One day, in his lonely room, he had a knock who could be looking for me and for what purpose? He stood up to meet his strange visitor at the door. Of course, his home is not good to receive any good visitor other than the devil that has been dealing with him. He was surprised to meet a worthy man at the door post. He was dressed in white Akbada with glowing skin. The visitor asked that he be allowed into the house of this poor man. He told him about everything he has been going through. He offered to help him. He gave him a doctor to treat him and restore his health into a good position. He gave him new accommodation. He also told him the business that he could do to guarantee his prosperity. And they gave him the fund and the contacts to help him in the business. The man trembling asked this strange helper, What will be my role in this your business, sir? The man answered, The business is 100% yours. You only need to write my name in your heart so you won't forget me and call upon me always. Still, the man bewildered. The man asked the big man, Where will I be dropping all the profits at the end of the year? The big man answered and said, Well, keep 90% of the profits for yourself after paying all the bills, including your fat salary. The 10% of the profits will be mine. In disbelief, the poor man started ruling on the ground. What a turnaround life! This is an illustration of partnership with God. Hannah summarizes it in 1 Samuel chapter 2, verse 8a. 1 Samuel chapter 2 verse 8 to a which says, He raises the poor from the dust and leaves the beggar from the ash heap to set him among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. Hallelujah. In the lead Bible text that we read, a team of professional fishermen went to the sea with the right tools and experience to catch fish. Unfortunately, they caught nothing all night. What a disappointment! As they were washing their nets of all the rubbish clinging to red, our great Lord Jesus Christ showed up. At his instructions and their obedience to the instructions, they caught so much fish that their nest was almost yarning. Wow. Brethren, I don't know how old you are and the battles you are facing. Maybe professionals have also tried their hands without success on your issues. Maybe your life has been full of stories of frustrations and disappointments. Neither your experience or that of the professionals have made any difference anymore. Your CV is stocked in a heap of other CVs. Maybe your applications are already being used to sell bully on the streets. Maybe each time you attend interviews, you are always told you are qualified, but you cannot get the job for the same trivial reasons. Maybe you have even dropped your degree certificate for lower certificates or diploma papers. Maybe the less qualified hands are busting you and he is still mocking you. Maybe you have started hiding from the public as a result of poverty and shame. It could be a sickness that people have now come to identify you with, and the doctors themselves are tired of you. Maybe you have started washing your net that is giving up. Behold, my Lord Jesus Christ is here. Hallelujah. There is nothing he cannot do. Nothing is beyond him. He is the perfect master. Apostle Paul gave a unique testimonials in Philippians chapter 4, verse 13. Philippians 4 13, of this great God saying, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. If you are in partnership with Christ, He will strengthen and empower you. Nothing and absolutely nothing shall be possible for Him to do for you. This is great news. Finding a perfect solution to all problems will be the most exciting thing for any man. Brethren, let us quickly look at the conditions that led to this great miracle. This will give us a guide on how to have very similar experience in life. Number one, man's efforts had failed. Man's efforts had failed. This happens every day and everywhere. We are all accustomed to read. It's more of the rule than an exception. The Bible had warned us of woman's limitation in the book of Jeremiah, chapter 17, verse 7. Jeremiah 17, verse 7, the Bible says, Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is of the Lord. He also said in Jeremiah chapter 17, verse 5a. Jeremiah chapter 17, verse 5a, thus says the Lord, Caused is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength. Success is a reflection of God's support in any man. Please trust God only, not any man. Number two, Christ arrived at the sin. Christ arrived at the sin. As a child of God, we must be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our situations. We only need to recognize and acknowledge Him. Many will say, if it was when Christ was alive, I will have gone to Israel to meet him. This is his dispensation, time of the Holy Spirit. He is with us always and everywhere. Hallelujah. Number three, the failure was reported to Christ. The failure of man was reported to Christ. God will not intervene in what is not reported to him. This is where the place of prayers and seeking God's face comes in. Some will say, Well, but God is always saying the whole situation. Yes, he is our God. He loves us, but he wants to know who do you trust with your situation? Man or God? Psalm 50 verse 15 says, Psalm 50 verse 15, call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me. Stop taking your challenges to friends and relatives. They are mockers who have nothing to offer you. Even when they want to help, they cannot go beyond their capacity. They need help themselves. This is usually limited. Our God can take care of any situation. He once raised the dead when it was necessary. Now, number four, Christ offered solutions. Christ offered solutions to the problems. The good news, brethren, is that there is nothing we can take to Jesus Christ that we won't receive solutions to. In Luke chapter 11, verse 9. Luke 11, verse 9, Jesus said, So I say to you, ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be open to you. These are words of assurance of our support from our Lord Jesus Christ. He has never failed on his promise. I pray that today God will open your spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear his cancer to you in that situation. Amen. Number five, Christ was obeyed. The people obeyed the instruction of Christ. Again, to get our result from Jesus, we must be ready to obey his instructions totally. There was no single miracle recorded in the Bible that was not preceded by total obedience. When Christ directs you in his solemn way, are you ready to obey him? Are you ready to obey his written and spoken words? In the book of 1 Samuel chapter 15, verse 22. 1 Samuel chapter 15 verse 22, the Bible says obedience is better than sacrifice. Obedience is better than sacrifice. And finally, miracle happened. Miracle happened. Miracle will happen in that situation. Brethren, that miracle must happen at the presence of Christ is a done deal. Christ came to destroy the work of Satan. The high capacity of God beyond human understanding is what is called miracle. That you will get a help out of that precarious situation is a must. I pray that where you have toiled without results, where you are almost being ridiculed or have been ridiculed, our living God will arise and direct success to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. God is the creator of the fishes. He can create more fish, even if there are none or not enough in that river where you are fishing to the glory of his name. Your labor is favored with abundant yield today, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. The only thing that can delay any of your miracles is sin. Yes. Unfortunately, if you are still battling with sin, then you cannot partner with Jesus Christ. 1 John chapter 3, verses 8 and 9. 1 John chapter 3 verses 8 and 9 says, He who sins is of the devil. For the devil have sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. It is not your fault to be born a sinner. Remaining a sinner is to destroy your great destiny. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for his seed remains in him, and he cannot sin because he has been born of God. Shan's sin today and repent of old sins. Take your rightful place in the kingdom of your Maker. Ride on in success because now your God is the Almighty God. Hallelujah. Want to thank you for your patience and interest in listening to this broadcast. We believe that you have been blessed. Kindly help share with others. Anyone who dies in sin is a lost soul to Satan. Please reach out to someone today and give him or her the news that Jesus came to die for him or her. You can also listen to this message and many other previous ones on our podcast streaming, codenamed Voice of Trinity. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. My name is Benjamin Olasukami Olami Julom. Let us pray. Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our wonderful Father and our God, the one who is almighty. Thank you for not despising us. Thank you for the honor that we are called your children and your friend. Thank you for always being there to fight our battles. Thank you for your readiness to partner with us for success in our lives and business. Without you, Lord, we can do nothing. But with you, we are more than a conqueror. Father, we pray that you will help our situation, that we will always see and hear your solemn instruction in our situations. Thank you for the provision for success for us. Father, we pray that from now on we will know no failure, but experience and all around success to the glory of your name. This and much more we ask through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
