FEAR NOT (PART 5)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Fear doesn’t just scare us, it trains us to forget who holds the real power. We bring the “Fear Not” series to a close with a direct, Scripture-driven reminder from Isaiah 41: God is with you, God is your God, and God personally promises to strengthen, help, and uphold you. When life feels hostile and voices rise against you, this message points your attention away from intimidation and back to the One who holds your right hand.
We also clear up one of the most misunderstood ideas in Christian living: the fear of God. We talk about reverence instead of terror, humility instead of panic, and why honoring God is the beginning of wisdom. Using Habakkuk 2:20, James 4:7, and Proverbs 9:10, we walk through practical reasons to fear God: reverence for His presence, submission that leads to obedience, a childlike respect rather than dread, and a sincere hatred of evil that turns us away from pride and sin.
To bring it home, we look at Joseph in Genesis 39 and his refusal to compromise under pressure. His words reveal the core issue behind many battles with fear and temptation: who are we really trying to please, and what are we willing to trade for temporary comfort? If you want biblical encouragement, Christian teaching on overcoming fear, and a clearer understanding of God’s power and protection, press play and share this with someone who needs courage. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell us what fear you’re ready to confront with faith.

Opening Prayer And Welcome
SPEAKER_00Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We welcome you to this moment of his word with cavalry greetings and the living word of God. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We pray for his abundant blessings, grace, and power for all our listeners in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. The fear of God is recognizing God's magnitude and responding with appropriate humility and devotion. It is the beginning of wisdom. Our Father and our God, we worship you. Thank you for all that you have done for us. Thank you for loving us and caring for us. We are absolutely nothing without you. That's why, in honor and reverence of you, we must fear you. This is the first lesson in wisdom. Father, in your world today, please speak to us on the right and healthy way to relate with you. Teach us not to have any reason to take your love for us for granted. We appreciate you, Lord, and worship you. Let our spirit be humble to receive from you without limits, Lord. Let it be so, for we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. The topic of our message is fear not. Fear not. Part five, the concluding part. We read verses seven to thirteen. Isaiah 41, we read verses 7 to 13. The craftsman strengthens the glowsmith and he who smooths with the hammer, him who strikes the anvil, saying, Of the children, it is good. And they strengthen it with nails so that it cannot be moved. But you Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I've chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend, you whom I took from the ends of the earth and called from his father's corner, saying to you, You are my servant, I've chosen you and not cast you off. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my right hand. Behold, all who are in his sense against you shall be put to shame and confounded. Those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who don't contend with you, you shall not find them. Those who were against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand. It is I who say to you, fear not. I am the one who helps you. Brethren, we give all the glory and adoration to our living God for the first first series on this topic. We appreciate your various feedbacks and testimonies, too. Our prayer is that every issue that has been creating fear in your lives, we become powerless and ashamed openly by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your continuous testimony will be that God has made you an overcomer in every area. God Himself will be the power behind your boldness and victory in every area in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Fear is a reaction of man to threat from Satan in many situations. This is to deceive man of where the ultimate power resides. When the Bible can say that we should not fear, it means we should not be afraid of the carbohydrate of the power being exhibited by Satan. We should rather remove the veil of the devil and deal with the cordial posture. This can only be done with the help of the one who has and control the power. Our living God is the abanger of power. He is the custodian of power and the one to be honored in humility. In a war situation, communities will honor those who save them from being humiliated and overrun with the title of Balogun or a generalist symbol. Our God is the Balogun of the Baloguns and He deserves our honor. Now, why do we need to fear God? Why do we need to fear God? To fear God means to have a profound reverential of His holiness, power, and authority, rather than being terrified of Him. It is a deep respect that leads to loving submission, obedience to His command, and desire to avoid sin, often described as a foundation of wisdom and spiritual understanding. Why should we fear God? We fear God for the following reasons. Number one, as reverence for his presence, as reverence for his presence. It is a sense of wonder at God's majesty and holiness, acknowledging him as the creator. In the book of Habakkuk, chapter 2, verse 20. Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 20, the Bible says, The Lord is in his holy temple. Let everyone on earth be silent in his presence. Number two, as a mark of submission and obedience to God. As a mark of submission and obedience to God. It involves recognizing God's authority and living according to his will, even if it is difficult. In James chapter 4, verse 7. James 4, verse 7, the Bible says, so then submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will run away from you. Hallelujah. Number three, as a distinction from terror, we fear him not because he's a terrorist, but as a mark of honor. For believers, this fear is not a paralyzing fear, but what we call a filial fear, like a child's love and a respect for his father, contrasting with dread for punishment. Number four, as a mark of hatred of evil. Hatred of evil. Fearing God includes turning away from pride, arrogance, and sinful behaviors. In Proverbs chapter 9, verse 10. Proverbs 9, verse 10, the Bible says to be wise, you must first have reverence for the Lord. If you know the Holy One, then you have an understanding. In summary, brethren, the fear of God is not being scared of him, no, but standing in air of him and honoring his righteous and loving character. God loves us, but we must not take the love for granted, as if he is our mate. He has done so much for us that our honor to him must stand taller than any other thing. The more you honor God, the wiser you become, because that is the greatest channel through which he will reveal himself to you. When Joseph was tempted in the house of Potiphar's master by the wife to do evil, in the book of Genesis, chapter 39, verses 7 to 9. Genesis 39, verses 7 to 9, the Bible says, When it came to pass after these things that his master's wife cast longing eyes on Joseph, and she said to him, Lie with me. But he refused and said to his master's wife, Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? He was looking beyond his master, but God. If you too, because of pleasing man or to evade a little momentary hardship, you betray your faith, you're actually betraying God. Live your life to fear God in honor and see how He will promote and protect you. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. We want to appreciate you for your patience and interest in listening to this broadcast. We believe that you have been greatly blessed. Please help us share with as many people as possible. This will encourage those who are under the scary circumstance of fear of nearly everything around them. You can also listen to this message and several other previous ones on our podcast streaming, codenamed Voice of Trinity. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. My name is Benjamin Olasukami Olami Jolo. Let us pray. Our loving Father and our God, we thank you for the concluding part of this very important topic. Thank you for the inspiration and power in your words always. Every word spoken against fear in this series has become your authority against the spiritual force. Every revelation against fear will permanently weaken its strength and tactics. Anyone and everyone under the influence of fear are set free today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We claim victory and dominion over fear and its effects in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Let it be so, Lord, for we have prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
