FEAR NOT (PART 4)

Fear can feel like a constant shadow, but what if the real issue isn’t your circumstances, it’s what fear is feeding on? We build this message around Isaiah 41:7–13 and God’s direct words: “Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you… I will help you.” That promise is not poetry for hard days; it’s a foundation for spiritual confidence when life feels unstable and anxiety keeps rising.
We go deeper into a topic many people avoid: the connection between sin and fear. We talk about worry as fear in modern clothes, often renamed “stress,” and why trust in God and fear cannot rule the heart at the same time. If sin creates separation from God, it also cuts off the peace and assurance that come from walking closely with Him. We ask honest questions about faith, adoption as God’s children, and whether we truly believe His Word when pressure hits.
Then we lay out key reasons fear becomes “perpetual” for many people: fear of judgment and condemnation, fear of spiritual separation, fear driven by a guilty conscience, anxiety from trying to control life without God, and fear intensified through spiritual bondage. The goal is practical and spiritual: run back to God, repent, rebuild trust, and regain the boldness the Holy Spirit gives.

pening Praise And Prayer
SPEAKER_00Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We welcome you to this hour of His Word with Calvary greetings and the living word of God. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We pray for God's abundant blessings, grace, and power for all our listeners in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. When souls are empty in faith, they are obviously filled with sin and fear. Our wonderful Father and our God, we worship you. Thank you for strengthening us through the Holy Spirit with faith. Thank you for the spirit of boldness and power implanted in us that overcomes fear. In this episode, Lord, please glorify your name. In your world today, teach us total obedience to you through the fear and honor to your name alone. Let it be so, Lord. For we pray it in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. The topic of our message is fear not. Fear not. Part four. Our little text is taken from the book of Prophet Isaiah, chapter 41, we read verses 7 to 13. Isaiah 41, verses 7 to 13. The craftsman strength is the ghost meat, and he who smooths with the hammer, him who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldier, it is good, and they strengthen it with knill so that it cannot be moved. But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend, you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from his father's corner, saying to you, You are my servant. I have chosen you and not cast you off. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded. Those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, you shall not find them. Those who war against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand. It is I who say to you, fear not, I am the one who helps you. Brethren, we give God all the glory for inspirations in the last three episodes. Your testimonies will remain permanent to the glory of God. Hold on to God, He never fails those who trust Him. As we have seen from the last two episodes, there are ways fear is triggered in our lives. We must have strategies to overcome them. We have examined the role of prayers, trusting God, and taking steps of faith to overcome fear. In the text that we read, the last verse talks about lack of fear when God is helping us. Unfortunately, sin usually creates a big gorge between us and God. This denies us the necessary help where we need it from God. Now, in this episode, we will be looking at sin and fear, the connection. Worry is fear. The new name for worry is stress. Fear and trust are direct opposite words. Trusting God is the antidote of fear and worry. When a person repents and puts faith in the Lord God, he becomes his father. God is more than sufficient to take care of us. Psalm 91 verse 7. Psalm 91 verse 7 says, A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand. He shall not approach you. This is the promise of God for his children. But do you trust God? Do you believe in his word? Are you a child of God? Not just by creation, but by adoption. Have you forsaken sin? Sinners are often in fear because sin separates them from God's love, creating a lifelong captivity to the fear of death, fear of judgment, and fear of condemnation. This spiritual bondage stems from guilt, a guilty conscience, the security of relying on oneself rather than God, and the threat of eternal consequences. The key reasons for these perpetual fears will be discussed as follows. Number one, there is the fear of judgment and damnation. The anticipation of facing God's wrath and eternal punishment for the sins which we have committed. In Proverbs chapter 11, verse 21A. Proverbs 11, verse 21A, the Bible says, though hands join together, sinners will not go unpunished. The only way out of this punishment is repentance. I beseech you today that you overcome sin. To overcome fear. Number two, there is the fear of spiritual separation. In the book of Isaiah, chapter 59, verses 1 and 2. Isaiah 59, verses 1 and 2, the Bible says, Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, or his ear door that it cannot hear. But the iniquities have made a separation between you and your God. And your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear you. I pray from today, every barrier that makes God not to hear us, they are removed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number three, a guilty conscience. A guilty conscience creates fear. The awareness of transgression leads to a crushing sense of shame and fear of being exposed. Conscience is a detective that watches the direction of our steps and decries every conscious transgression. It is a vigilant eye before which each imagination, every thought and act is heard up for either censor or approval. In Proverbs chapter 28, verse 1a. Proverbs 28, verse 1A, the Bible actually says the wicked flee when no one pursues him. Every evil spirit that is pursuing us to be running around because of guilty conscience. Today, the spirit of God rebuke you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number four there is lack of control for sinners. Sinful fears arise from trying to manage life without God. This will result in anxiety about the future and insecurity. In Romans chapter 7, verse 23. Romans 7, verse 23, the Bible says, But I see in my members another law waging war against the law of might and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. It is my prayer that every captive of sin today be set free in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number five, satanic influence creates fear. Fear is a tactic used to keep individuals in bondage and separated from divine love of God. Every satanic bondage or association that has captured lives and minds in perpetual fear, be loosed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. And finally, essentially, fear is as a result of losing the peace that comes from a reconciled relationship with God. Run back to God today and regain your freedom in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Brethren, in the next episode, we will be discussing the only person to be feared in honor. That is our Lord God. He's the only one that deserves our fear because he is the only one that the devil fears and respects. Come under his cover. His fear is to empower you and make you bold over the tactics of Satan. He will empower you and make you an overcomer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Want to appreciate you for your patience and interest in listening to this broadcast. We believe that you have been blessed. Please help us share with as many people as possible. This will encourage those who are under the scary circumstances of the fear of nearly everything around them. You can also listen to this message and several other previous ones on our podcast streaming, good named Voice of Trinity. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. My name is Benjamin Olasukami Olami Julom. Let us pray. Everlasting God, the only one through which we can conquer sin, we adore you. Thank you for this message and the inspiration. Our single plea, Lord, is that your spirit will strengthen us, that every attraction, every commitment and bait to sin will from today begin to lose their power. Sin will become an abomination to us as your blessings and grace will continue to be our focus. Let it be so, Lord, for we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
