FEAR NOT (PART 1)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Fear loves to sound certain. It whispers worst outcomes, tightens the chest, and calls retreat wisdom. We confront that voice head-on, opening with Isaiah 41’s steady promise: do not be dismayed, for I am your God. From there, we explore how scripture reframes fear as a spirit of bondage that loses ground when we stand in power, love, and a sound mind. Instead of denying hard moments, we show how God’s presence meets us in the valley and changes what we believe is possible.
We walk through practical and theological layers. First, a clear definition of fear as a real, embodied response that can still be guided. Then, Romans 8:15 and 2 Timothy 1:7 reveal the core exchange: slavery to fear versus adoption and clarity. We expose fear as a tactic of the enemy meant to shrink our hope, and we counter with Psalm 23’s image of comfort under pressure. Along the way we call out a key shift: being fearless is not deleting alarms; it is learning to read the signal while holding God’s hand. That is how ordinary people become quiet heroes, taking the next faithful step when panic says stop.
You will hear quotes that cut through fog, a reading of Isaiah 41:7–13 that centers our hearts, and a focused prayer to rebuke fear’s grip. We close by pointing to habits that strengthen courage tomorrow: rehearse promise, pray with authority, and choose action in small, steady steps. If you’re tired of worry loops and craving a sound mind anchored in God’s Word, this conversation offers language, tools, and hope.

Opening Blessing And Theme
SPEAKER_00Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We come to you with cavalry greetings and the living word of God. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We pray for his abundant blessings, grace, and power for all our listeners in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. A combination of three quotes gives us an apt idea of what fear is and how to treat fear. I quote, the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Because everything you want is on the other side of fear. So do the thing that you fear, and the death of fear is certain. End of quote. We honor your name. You are greater than the greatest. That great philosopher Mary Curie wrote, and I quote, Nothing in life is to be feared. It is to be understood. Father, it is the wisdom and understanding of life that your word offers us in the scriptures. Please, today, Lord, as usual, speak your word. Fill it with power. Grant us knowledge and understanding to overcome fear and its consequences. Let it be so, Lord. For we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Fear not. Isaiah 41, verses 7 to 13. The craftsman strengthens the ghost meat, and he who smooths with the hammer, him who strikes the anvil, saying of the children, it is good, and they strengthen it with nails so that it cannot be moved. But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend, you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its father's corners, saying to you, You are my servant. I have chosen you and not cast you off. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded. Those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, you shall not find them. Those who were against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand. It is high, who say to you, fear not, I am the one who helps you. Hallelujah. Brethren, we thank God for his inspiration always. The new topic we shall be discussing in the next few episodes is a feeling that we must know the secrets and how to conquer it. Fear is a feeling induced by perceived danger or threat occurs in certain types of organisms, which causes a change in metabolic and organ functions, and ultimately a change in behavior, such as fleeing, hiding, or freezing from perceived traumatic events. Fear is paying for what you never benefited from. In Luke chapter 12, verse 25. Luke 12, verse 25, the Bible asks a valid question of the futility of allowing fear and worry to rule our world. It says, and which of you by worrying can add one cubic to his stature? Fear can be uncomfortable and crippling, but eliminating it will be the equivalent of taking down your home alarm system because it sometimes makes a loud and irritating sound. Be fearless doesn't mean eliminating fear, no. Being fearless means knowing how to leverage fear, and to do that, we need to know a few things about this particular issue we are dealing with. Fear. What is fear? Number one, fear is a spirit. In Romans chapter 8, verse 15. Romans 8 15, the Bible says, For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you receive the spirit of adoption by whom we cry about Father. Fear is a spirit of bondage. Also in 2 Timothy chapter 1, verse 7. 2 Timothy chapter 1, verse 7, the Bible confirms that for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind. Fear should not be joked with as a nunny should know. The evil spirit should be rebuked through the spirit of God most high. That's the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Secondly, devil is the author of fear. Fear is the most potent power in the hand of the devil. In the book of Revelation, chapter 2, verse 1. Revelation 2, verse 1, the Bible says, Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison that you may be tested and you will have tribulation 10 days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. God is our refuge. Who has a better plan for us? Number three, fear is ordinary man masquerading. We know when an ordinary man carries a masquerade. In Psalm 23, verse 4. Psalm 23, verse 4, the Bible says, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. When God is with us, devil's veil will be removed, and he will be put to shame. Devil will be put to shame in our lives, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number four, fear is necessary to create heroes. Yes. In Isaiah chapter 41, verse 11. Isaiah 41, verse 11, the Bible says, Behold, all those who are incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced. They shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. A hero must emerge, either you or Satan, which is represented by fear. If you don't give in to fear, you will surely overcome and emerge as a hero. Hallelujah. And finally, God commands us not to fear or worry. That's God's command. Fear not appears 365 times in the Bible as God recognizes that the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories. So God understands fear is natural, but his command is fear not. So the 365 appearance means every day God is telling you, fear not. The power to overcome fear, God will grant us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. When fear comes, it starts suggesting as a counselor failure part or disappointment root. We must then arise in the power of the Holy Spirit, which is the only thing that He fears. Fear can overwhelm anyone at any situation by any means. That is why our prayer point today will be an arrow from the Holy Spirit targeting the spirit of fear. We say, Father, in your name, we rebuke every spirit of fear operating around me. Your veil is removed today, and in nakedness, you are rebuked in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. You lose your power and strategies in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. In the next episode, brethren, we will be examining strategies to overcome fear and subdue its power. We should not be afraid of what God has defeated on our behalf. We should celebrate daily our victory in Christ over fear. Hallelujah. My name is Benjamin Olasukami, Orlan Jules. Let us pray. Our loving Father and our God, we worship you. Thank you for conquering fear on our behalf. We appreciate you, Lord. Every area of our life, the devil is masquerading to deny us your given joy. Please help us overcome it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We convert the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome permanently. We recover all that fear has made us loose. Never again will fear rule our lives. We will forever celebrate the grace and power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen.
