SPEAKER_00:

Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We bring to you good tidings, covering greetings, and the living word of God. We pray for his abundant blessings for all our listeners. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Amen. In 2 Corinthians chapter 10, verses 2 to 5. 2 Corinthians chapter 10, verses 2 to 5, the Bible says, For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God. For pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exhausts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Hallelujah. Let us pray. Our unfailing Father and God, we worship you. Thank you for your covenant of faithfulness for all those who rely on you. Thank you for fighting all our battles and granting us sure victory all the time. Thank you for the salvation of our soul. Father, we pray that in your word today, you will open our spiritual eyes that we may see your plans for us in protecting us against internal and external threats. That you never sleep nor slumber in our defense. Thank you, everlasting Lord. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen. The topic of our message is our unfailing God. Our unfailing God. Brethren, our world from time immemorial, was built around various struggles, challenges, difficulties, problems, and sometimes warfare. Even God, our Maker, is not a stranger to war. That was probably why Moses in his song of victory in Exodus chapter 15, verse 3. Exodus 15, verse 3 says, The Lord is a man of war. The Lord is his name. Wow. What individuals or group of individuals at war or in a struggle deployed for the solution? Is what have been changing through times, seasons, and from individuals to various organizations or entities involved in such conflict or struggles. In the text that we read, Psalm 16, verse 8. Psalm 16, verse 8 is one of the Psalms that David wrote to encourage himself and affirm his strong belief in the power of God as his fortress in time of struggles. David painted the picture of God as the captain of his warfare. He described him as his focus and reliance. He did not put him behind him that he could forget, but before him as his hope and savior. David himself was not a puppet in war matters. He can be described as a veteran. From his encounters with wild animals as a young shepherd to his one-man battalion confrontation with Goliath of Philistine, the head of army, that tormented the state of Israel for several years. In 1 Samuel chapter 17, verse 45, the Bible records that then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. I shall not be moved. It's a strong statement confirming the unchanging trust in God and his power to sustain us. David's stories did not paint the story of a saint, but that of a man with absolute trust in God. He trusted God so much that when he was confronted with the options of who to punish him for his sins, he chose God above man. In 2 Samuel chapter 24, verse 14. 2 Samuel chapter 24, verse 14, the Bible says, And David said to God, I am in great distress. Let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercies are great, but do not let me fall into the hand of man. This story of David is a good illustration of how we can rely on our living God to conquer all our battles. There are several shapes and forms of battles and challenges. There are physical battles and there are spiritual battles. Some of these are even interwoven. Some spiritual battles can lead to physical battles and vice versa. It is my prayers that whatever form our challenges may take, we will overcome them all. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Our perfect Master and Lord did not leave us in ignorance in anticipation of our battles. No. In John chapter 16, verse 33. John 16, verse 33, Jesus said, These things I have spoken to you that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. This is the assurance that the children of God have in him. Trials must come, and we surely come in different shades. If we are not strong in faith, sometimes it will be like the whole world is against us. Some moments we can look helpless, but our help is in God. In Psalm 121, verses 1 to 2. Psalm 121 verses 1 and 2. The Psalmist says, I will lift up my eyes to the hills. From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Wow. Anyone with capacity to create heaven and earth cannot find it difficult to solve our common problems, even though they look like mountains to individuals. All you need to do is to call on God. He will defend us as an answer. He will defend us to overcome always. He will make our warfare very powerless. He will strengthen us to overcome all the time. Today, brethren, I encourage us all to have confidence and trust in our living God. He is our creator. He didn't create us for problems, but created us to ride in victory over every problem and challenges. He created us to win all our battles to the glory of his name. All we need to do is to surrender our lives to him and forsake saints that can create a divide between us and our God. I pray that as you call upon him, he will prove himself and grant us victory over our problems. Amen. In Proverbs chapter 18, verse 10. Proverbs 18, verse 10, the Bible says, The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe. As you call upon his name, may he be merciful to save you. I implore you to come back to your Creator and reconcile your ways today. He loves you and won't want your life to be consumed by meaningless wars or struggles. He is the only one that has power over the storms of your life. He will save you. He will not allow the warfare to overrun your life. He will glorify his name in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Our single prayer point today is we'll say, My Father and my God, I have put you before me. You are my hope and my fortress. I will never be moved. I will never be frustrated. I will never backslide. My victory is sure in you. My warfare will be made powerless by your power. You are my Lord and God. Anyone waging war against me will receive your anger, Lord. It is done. Thank you, my Father and my God. In Jesus' name, we have prayed. Amen. Let us pray. Our loving Father and our God, we thank you for all that you have done for us. Thank you for fighting our battles. Thank you for granting us victory through the power and the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you for mesmerizing Satan and his agents through your power. Father, we pray that your spirit will continue to encourage us to trust you and you alone for victory over our warfare. Every threat of Satan over our lives. Please make a mockery of them all. Every group of individuals who have dedicated their lives and times to raising warfare against us, please give them bigger assignments that will frustrate their lives and make them an object of mockery. Let it be so, Lord, for we have prayed in Jesus' matchless name. Amen.
