Voice of Trinity
GIVING PERMISSION FOR AFFLICTION (PART 7)
We trace Samson’s collapse in Judges 16 and show how relentless pressure, misplaced trust, and human cruelty turned strength into shame. We pray targeted prayers to overturn humiliation, bless those who showed mercy, and prepare for Samson’s fierce final stand. We go over the following in this episode:
• the danger of pressured confession and breached boundaries
• why God’s mercy is safer than man’s cruelty
• the psychology of public humiliation and control
• strategic prayers against plots and disgrace
Please help us share with as many as possible.

Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We bring you the good tidings, cavalry greetings, and the living word of God. We pray for his abundant blessings for all our listeners in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Amen. Let us pray. Our loving Father and our God, we thank you for the grace to learn once again at your feet. Thank you for the success and great feedbacks on the last six episodes. How can we thank you enough for the great inspiration and power in your word? We are grateful, Lord. Today we pray for two things that your name be glorified and that individual lives be blessed mightily. Let it be so, Lord. For we have prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. The topic of our message is giving permission for affliction. Giving permission for affliction. Part 7. Our text is from the book of Judges, chapter 16. We read verses 16 to 21. Judges 16, verses 16 to 21. And when she pressed him hard with her words day after day, an urged him, his soul was vexed to death. And he told her all his heart and said to her, Erazo has never come upon my head, for I'll be a Nazarite to God from my mother's womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man. When Delina saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called the Lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up again, for he has told me all his heart. Then the Lord of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money in their hands. She made him sleep on her nails, and she called a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him. And she said, The Philistines are upon you, Samson. And he awoke from his sleep and said, I will go out as at other times and shake myself free. But he did not know that the Lord had left him. And the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes and brought him down to Giza and bound him with bronze shackles. And he ground at the meal in the prison. Brethren, in the last episode, we discussed how Samson was humiliated by his tormentors, ably led by his wife. His eyeballs were crudely removed like palm cannel fruit. What a great pain he must have suffered. He will have still been hearing voices of humiliation and jubilation over his fall in such a painful situation. In that helpless situation, he was still chained. This was to ensure that whatever remained of his power was rendered very useless. He was then made to grind corn at the meal. This was to make him serve as a slave in pain. When a man wants to ridicule a fellow human being, they are ingenious in crafting different ideas of humiliation. Some evil people will wish they just have a chance to show others how colours they can be. That was why when David was offered who should punish him for his sin, he chose God. In 1 Chronicles chapter 21, verse 13. Please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercies are very great. But do not let me fall into the hand of man. Not because God is weak, but in his nature he is very merciful. Man has no mercy. Pray that you will never fall into the hand of any man. The Bible in Psalm 10, verse 2, and Psalm 94, verse 6. Describe man's attitude as pursue poor, murder the innocent, and oppress the needy. May man's hand of wickedness never be able to capture any of us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Now our prayer's point for today. Prayer number one. We say, My Father and my God, no matter how crafty man may be, let me never be captured for their humiliation. Anyone and everyone waiting for my downfall, they will become my stepping stone to greatness and elevation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Prayer number two. We say, Father, all the plans and imaginations of my adversaries to humiliate and destroy my life and career. They will utterly fail, even before they are arched. All their toiling day and night to put me to shame will turn over them in shame and disgrace. Their armor will consume them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. And finally, prayer number three. For our benefactors who chose not to humiliate us. We say, My father and my God, I want to appreciate you for the great people that you have planted around me. Many of them have shaped my life and career. Some had the chance to destroy me if they had wanted to do so. But they did otherwise. Let them know that they have been kind to me by your mandate. Please, Lord, grant them joy and fulfillment. Let no evil before their children and their loved ones. Bless them, Lord, and keep them in your plans as a compensation for their faithfulness. Let them have great testimony, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for your mercy on all of us. Till I see you in glory, Lord. It has become an abomination for anyone to plan evil against me. Anyone who tries it, Lord, will receive your vengeance. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen. In the next episode, brethren, we will be looking at how Samson in anger and deadly protest over his simulation asked for his own destruction and that of his mockers. Wow. A half-dead snake is very dangerous. Beware of those who have leftover anointing, anger, regrets, and bitterness. We want to appreciate you for your patience and interest in listening to this broadcast. We believe that you have been greatly blessed. Please help us share with as many as possible. You can also listen to this message and several other previous ones on our podcast streaming. Good named Voice of Trinity. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. My name is Benjamin Olasukami Olami Julom. Let us pray. Father, I want to thank you for this great exposition in your word. It's not a tale by moonlight story, but your inspiration to warn us of the possible consequences of anyone playing jokers with his life and career. Father, we don't have the power of our own. We can only pray that you will strengthen us and hold us in your power. You have the power and knowledge over every deligner and Philistines around us. Never let their evil plans come to fulfillment in our lives. You will not just expose them, Lord. Their evil plans will come to manifestation in their own lives. Let it be so, our Master and Redeemer. For we have prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
