GIVING PERMISSION FOR AFFLICTION (PART 4)
Ever notice how the hardest hits don’t always come from enemies but from the quiet leak in our own words? We go straight to Judges 16 and sit with Samson’s unraveling to learn why persistent pressure works, how oversharing fuels affliction, and what it takes to guard the gates of your life. This is a soul-level toolkit for anyone who feels pulled to explain everything, perform for approval, or hand out pieces of their story to people who haven’t earned the right to carry it.
We walk through three core warnings shaped by scripture and lived experience. First, telling all your heart to anyone but God is handing over your map and keys. Second, covenant secrets are holy—making them common is a quiet betrayal that drains power. Third, giving away the one detail that reduces you to ordinary is self-sabotage dressed as honesty. Along the way we name modern Delilahs: relentless DMs, probing questions that seek leverage, clout-chasing “support,” and the pressure to turn private grace into public content.
This conversation doesn’t stop at caution; it equips. You’ll hear simple, workable practices to guard your mouth and protect your calling: smaller circles of counsel, slower answers, rituals of early prayer, scripture spoken aloud, and the courage to say “that’s between me and God.” We end with focused prayers—fortifying boundaries around your treasures, asking the Holy Spirit to bridle the tongue, and reclaiming the truth of being fearfully and wonderfully made. Expect clarity, conviction, and a gentler way to carry your story without losing your strength.
If this spoke to you, subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs stronger boundaries and fresh covering. What’s one secret you’ll keep with God alone this week?

Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We bring to you good tidings, cavalry greetings, and the living word of God. We pray for his abundant blessings for all our listeners in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We wish our numerous listeners and friends a Merry Christmas. May the reasons for the season manifest gloriously in our lives in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Let us pray. Our Redeemer and God, we magnify your name. Thank you for this season of Christmas, which is a celebration of your love for us, in your coming to rescue us from the burden and condemnation of sin. Thank you, Lord, for your living word, which is a light to our feet. We are particularly thankful to you, Lord, for your inspiration in making the first three series of this podcast a huge success. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that has been empowering your word and giving us deep understanding. Father, today, in your nature, please grant us wisdom and grace to be able to assimilate your message. Let your words that will hear daily prosper our lives. Let it be so, Lord. For we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Giving permission for affliction. Part four. Our little text is taken from Judges chapter 16. We read verses 16 to 21. Judges chapter 16, verses 16 to 21. And when she pressed him hard with her words day after day, and urged him, his soul was vexed to death. And he told her all his heart and said to her, Eliza has never come upon my head, for I've been a Nazarite to go from my mother's womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man. When the Lina saw that he had told her all his heart, she went and called the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up again, for he has told me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money in their hands. She made him sleep on her nails, and she called a man and had him shave of the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and the strength left him. And she said, The Philistines are upon you, Samson. And he awoke from his sleep and said, I will go out as at other times and shake myself free. But he did not know that the Lord had left him. And the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes and brought him down to Gaza and banned him with bronze shackles and a ground at the meal in the prison. Brethren, in the last episode, we started discussing the series of engagements of Samson by his wife in collaboration with his tormentors. We discussed the use of persistent pressure as a weapon to weaken strong men. My prayer is that God will expose, confuse, and frustrate everyone and anyone using this devilish weapon in any area of our lives. Amen. For I have been a Nazarite to God from my mother's womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man. Point number one. Telling all your heart to anyone except God is selling out your life. Your mouth is the door to your life and treasures. When the gates to your treasure has no lock or control, that is the beginning of big problems. In Proverbs chapter 4, verse 23. Proverbs 4, verse 23, the Bible says, Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. There must be secret covenants only known to you and your God. Give your creator that honor. Friends in men do turn to enemies without any warning. Many are not just loose in who they talk to, they are loose also, that they say it all without shame or control. Point number two. Telling any man about the secrets between you and your God is betraying God. In this case, a man that was bold enough to confront him that she wants to destroy Samson became his confident. What an irony. Samson unfortunately had no breedle of any sort on his body. He was like a loose canon. Many men are like that. Examine yourself today and make amendments before it is too late. Point number three telling anyone what will turn you into weak and ordinary man is the most silly act anyone can do against oneself. In Psalm 139, verse 4. Psalm 139 verse 4, the Bible says, I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well. God has deliberately masqueraded you with his glory. It's a secret between you and your God. Only your soul, when you make it to be alive, will know this secret, not strangers. That's why God didn't make us like cars or turbo engines that can be open to see the assemblage. Anyone who has not grown to realize this is a working corpse, an ordinary man. Our prayers will be anchored around these salient points today. We must use another man's silly behavior to know wisdom. Now our prayers. Prayer number one. We say, Father, the power to keep firm, the controls around my treasures, my anointing, my children, my family, my plans, my relationship with you, Lord. Please grant me, Lord. From today, every spiritual journalist and faith columnist of my treasures are totally blinded and brain dead in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The unseen mirror being used for my life monitoring is broken today and shattered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Prayer number two. We say, Father, from now on, let the Holy Spirit help me to breed you around my life, my tongue, my attitudes, my actions, and all that I do. I don't ever want to behave again like a loose canon that has no control. My father and my Lord, please help me. I'm not a jester, I am the child of the living God. My covenant with God cannot and will never again become an object of joke and ridicule. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. And finally, prayer number three. In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, I reclaim my original nature of creation by God. I become once again fearfully and wonderfully restored. The nature of a derobed masculine I reject. The nature of nakedness I reject. The nature of an ordinary man I reject. The nature of a weak man I reject. I am covered with the glory and power of the Most High. So will I remain until I see him in glory. No principality, no power will ever toy again with my destiny and glory. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Our prayers are sealed with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you, everlasting Father, for these revelations. No weapon of nakedness will prosper in our lives, in our business and ministry. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. In the next episode, we will continue to discuss the series of engagements of Samson and his tormentors leading to his eventual fall. We believe that you have been blessed. Please help us share with as many people as possible. You can also listen to this message and several other previous ones on our podcast streaming, codenamed Voice of Trinity. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. On behalf of my darling wife, Fumi, who has been a great part of this program, our children Femi and Io, who have been anchoring the technical support. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous year in advance. Amen. My name is Benjamin Olasukami. Let us pray. Our Father and our God, we give you praises, honor, and adoration for all that you have done for us. Thank you for your grace that abandons around us always. We are so grateful for this ministration as it has touched our hearts once again on the need to guide our loins and breed through our body. Father, we ask for the strengthening of the Holy Spirit and your enabling power. Never again will we play into the hands of the wicked monitoring spirit, those who are currently battling through the encampment of Satan. We plead for your power, Lord, to set them free and restore their dignity and glory. Let it be so, Lord, for we prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
