SPEAKER_00:

Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We bring to you good tidings, cavalry greetings, and the living word of God. We pray for his abundant blessings for all our listeners in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Amen. Our Lord Jesus Christ asked in Matthew chapter 8, verses 35 and 36. Matthew 8, verses 35 and 36 that what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? What will a man give in exchange for his soul? This is how important spending everlasting life in the presence of God is. I pray that in his mercies, God will help us not to miss this golden opportunity. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Thank you for giving us hope of spending our eternity with you. Father, your word today, please glorify your name. Father, we pray that in whatever position we find ourselves, it will never hinder us from serving you through our neighbors that may need our help. In your kingdom, Lord, let our steel worship be rewarded as being acceptable. Thank you, everlasting Father. For we've prayed in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. The topic of our message is inheriting everlasting life. Inheriting everlasting life. Luke 10, verses 25 to 37. And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying, Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And he said to him, What is written in the law? What is your reading of it? So he answered and said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. And he said to him, You have answered rightly, do this, and you will live. But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, Who is my neighbor? Then Jesus answered and said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now, by chance a certain priest came down by the road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at that place, came and looked and passed by the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine, and set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denari, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you. So, which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves? And he said, He who showed mercy on him. Then Jesus said to him, Go and do likewise. Brethren, we thank a living God once again for the grace that we have to be in his presence. I pray that our expectations from him today will be met. Amen. In the last episode, we introduced the discussions on the parable of the good Samaritan. We examine our attitudes also to vulnerable people in the society. These must change. If we want to be a good disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that his spirit will help us in this regard in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. In this episode, we will be looking at the various categories of people who turned down an opportunity to write their names in gold by helping their neighbor. But despite their advantage positions, they failed to help. Number one, the priest. The priest was noticed being a man of God and a preacher of the word. Usually they go from house to house, from street to street, and they know deep secrets of the society. Many of them turn their experiences to preaching stories instead of having compassion for others, especially the victims of such stories. Compassion is the character of God. Why was this man not driven by compassion of the victim situation? These are some of the reasons why evangelism is not moving at the speed of light today. Leaders of the church have titles but not characters of God. I employ every leader of the church to start having pity and compassion of people's situation. May God grant us the enablement to assist others in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Number two, the Levite. This is a very special family dedicated to the leadership of the church. They are entitled to decisions on how the church assets are shared and managed. They are viewed as the eye of the God. In short, the family of God. A Levite who could use his position to mobilize resources and influence the treatment of this victim, also ignored the victim to his fate. This is what happens today for people of influence and wherewithal who don't want to see the downtrodden ones. This is a call for a change. May God, our provider, not turn the table around negatively for us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Now, I put number three others who will have seen him unnoticed. Brethren, besides this popular titled man, the society has individuals who could have helped this victim. This show of love is a direct entry to inherit eternal life with God. Let's take advantage of the next victim of hunger, homelessness, frustration, and depression. Let us all rise and help such people. God, the head of every law, knows about your innocence, and he will keep you and vindicate you in every circumstance. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. We believe that you have been blessed. Please help share with as many people as possible. In the next episode, we will be focusing on this good Samaritan. You can also listen to this message and several other previous ones on our podcast streaming, codenamed Voice of Trinity. God bless you richly as you do so. Amen. My name is Benjamin Olaxu Kami Olami Jolo. Let us pray. Everlasting King of Glory, the I am that I am, we worship you. Thank you for showing us this example of whom our neighbors should be. Thank you for warning us that our titles and callings convey to us direct responsibilities. This we must not fail. Father, we pray that where we have failed you in the past, you have mercy on us. From now on, we promise to be your strength to the helpless and your voice to the voiceless. This task we believe your spirit will empower us to do without fail. Thank you, everlasting God. In Jesus' name, we have prayed. Amen.
