SPEAKER_01:

Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We bring to you good tidings, covering greetings, and the living word of God. We pray for God's abundant blessings for all our listeners in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Amen. The great poet Remy wrote, and I quote, The wound is where the light enters you. This suggests that our pain, when met with an openness and humility, becomes a pathway for growth and understanding, similar to healing light entering the wound. Also, in Colossians chapter 3, verse 12. Colossians chapter 3 verse 12, the Bible says, Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, long suffering. Humility is a virtue that enables fulfillment as a Christian, including physical and spiritual healings. Hallelujah. Let us pray. Our wonderful Lord our God, we worship you. Thank you for perfecting the process of our well-being, including healing through humility. Thank you, Lord, for the grace that we have to continually be learning from you, Lord. In this episode, please glorify your name. Grant us the grace, an understanding of your teachings, and the heart to accept them to the glory of your name. Today, Lord, please rebuke from our lives the spirit of pride, self-conceit, and arrogance. Whatever we must have missed through these terrible attitudes, please, Lord, redeem and restore them back to our lives from today. Thank you for your mercy on our lives. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen. The topic of our message is the humility and healing of the gospel. The humility and the healing of the gospel. A little text is taken from 2 Kings chapter 5. We read verses 9 to 14. 2 Kings chapter 5 verses 9 to 14. Then Neaman went with his horses and chariot, and he stood at the door of Elisha's house. And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean. But Naaman became furious and went away and said, Indeed I said to myself, He will surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place and heal the leprosy. And not the Abana and the Papha, the rivers of Damascus better than all the waters in Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage, and his servant came near and spoke to him, and said, My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, will you not have done it? How much more then when he says to you, Wash and be clean? So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. Brethren, the great preacher Cam Hood had a regular and popular quote that the gospel will humble you before healing you. Humility is a turning point for every man. You either voluntarily humble yourself or the circumstance will humble you. Neiman was the head of the palace army in Syria, maybe a brigadier or a major general. He was leprous. Leprosy had no known cure except whatever can be called a miracle that time. Neiman had no idea of miracles or where and how one can receive one. The housemaid, who was a captive from mystery, was concerned, knowing that a prophet existed who could help Neyman with a miraculous cure of his leprosy. The housemaid introduced the idea of meeting the prophet for our God's healing, which was accepted. Unfortunately, Neiman, like many big men, usually rely on their possessions. He went there with huge gifts to show appreciation when he would have been healed. Or even carry out his healings. Again, unfortunately, even in orthodox hospitals, patients must submit themselves in humility to medical personnel and cooperate with them to make their treatment plans a success. These lessons are important for us all the time. Lesson one God can use anyone to help us realize our goals and objectives. Many have built many unseen partitions between friends and neighbors, even children. This is ungodly. God loves us equally despite our shortcomings. He has not given up on anyone despite our evil deeds. In Hebrews chapter 12, verse 14. I pray that our inner hatred for some people will not deny us our blessings and opportunity to see God at the end of our sojourn on earth. Amen. Lesson number two power, contacts, and abundance of possessions may not be able to save us at critical moments. In Proverbs chapter 21, verse 31. Proverbs 21, verse 31, the Bible says the horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the Lord. This means that whatever efforts we make towards our battles, it's only towards God's sanctions that will come to pass. As powerful as Neh was, he couldn't get any healer for his leprosy. Power is nothing when he cannot secure your needs. This is the irony of life. He took the intervention of a housemate to link up with the source of healing. Lesson number three. Brethren, this is what gospel is all about obedience to instructions in humility. There is no single miracle in the Bible without obedience. In Matthew chapter 18, verses 3 and 4. Matthew 18, verses 3 and 4. The Bible says, As surely I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever unpulls himself as its little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Our wisdom, our experience, and knowledge is nothing before God. In Proverbs chapter 21, verse 30. Proverbs 21, verse 30, the Bible says, There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord. May we all continue to use our wisdom or understanding and counsel for the Lord always? Amen. Brethren, are you going through a situation that is humbling you? Do not see your situation as punishment. Have a reflection on your situation. Do you desire salvation for your soul? Do you desire healing for your body? Do you desire to prosper in the faith? Be ready to accept Jesus like a child in humility. This is not negotiable. Be the greatest man in the kingdom of heaven. Humble yourself as a little child. I pray that God will, in his mercy today, grant us the instruction that will turn our story around positively, and he will grant us the humility to obey him totally in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Want to thank you for your interest and patience in listening to this broadcast. We believe that you have been blessed. Please have share with as many people as possible. My name is Benjamin Ola Sukami, Olami Julon. Let us pray. Everlasting King of Glory, thank you for your support for us always, while we go through different experiences in life. One thing we are sure of is that your plans for us are not only perfect, they are always superior to our plans. This is why we are always ready, Lord, to surrender ourselves to your will. You are our creator, Lord. We cannot be wiser than you, who knew us from the womb. We are here for your healing. We are here for your directive and instruction, Lord. Please speak healing to our body and soul. Speak strength and wisdom to us, Lord. Speak life to us, Lord. Let your spirit of humility dwell permanently in us. Thank you, Lord, because you have heard us and you we are king to our voice. Glory be to your name forever. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen.
